As a rising senior at Old Dominion University of Virginia majoring in journalism, my intentions for this site are to hone my writing skills while providing an interested audience with a wide variety of new coverage and stories.

I have felt the call to journalism for most of my adult life but only figured out how to use this drive constructively much later than I would have liked. Join me as I attempted to make my own and many other voices heard while making up for the lost time by dedicating myself to providing consistent independent news coverage that is factual to the best of my ability. 

The inspiration for this endeavor came from the frustration of the lack of consistent news coverage by student publications on my campus and many others. Joining me in this, I am happy to host various other student journalists and creative writers as we share in our allied mission to represent the people in a free and honest manner.
